The township of Cherry Hill is located in western New Jersey, just east of Camden, and only five miles (eight kilometers) southeast of Philadelphia. It is part of Camden County, and is home to 18,196 residents.

Local attractions include the Barclay Farmstead, which was built by a Quaker farmer in 1816. This historic site offers farmhouse tours, interpretive nature trails, along with exciting events and programs. The Goodwin Holocaust Museum houses a large collection of artifacts, photographs, and memorabilia, and educates the public about this dark chapter in history. On a more lighthearted note, Cherry Hill is also home to the Garden State Discovery Museum, an outstanding facility that offers interactive exhibit areas and endless hands-on fun for children.
