The neighborhood of Forest Hills is located in borough of Queens, about 20 minutes by subway from Manhattan. The community was for many years the site of the US Open Tennis Tournament, before it was moved to its current location at nearby Flushing Meadows Park. Forest Hills is home to a range of lower-middle-class to upper-class residents, and contains a mixture of residential and shopping areas. The community is famous for its shopping district on Austin Street, and for the antique shops along Metropolitan Avenue.
