Leawood, Kansas, is situated near the Missouri border, just four miles (six kilometers) southeast of Overland Park, 11 miles (18 kilometers) south of Kansas City, and 62 miles (100 kilometers) east of Topeka. It is home to 27,656 people, and is part of Johnson County.
