Samuel D Uretsky, PharmD

Samuel Uretsky has spent most of his career at New York University Medical Center and has also taught pharmacotherapeutics at both NYU and Hunter College. Uretsky reached to writing as a catharsis, and, to his surprise, people really enjoyed his work – in 1985, he submitted a piece to the American Journal of Hospital Pharmacy, which was published and widely read. He's been writing ever since. Focusing on medical history and medical quackery, Uretsky is broadly read in history, classics, literature, and general medical history, which gives his articles great depth and humor.
