Crescent City Physicians, Inc. provides quality-rich healthcare in a private practice environment at several locations throughout Orleans Parish. Family practitioners and internists are invited to join the team that’s bringing health and hope back to Greater New Orleans. Company overview: Founded in 1994, Crescent City Physicians, Inc. (www.touro.com/ccpi) provides multi-specialty healthcare services at 14 locations throughout Greater New Orleans. As a subsidiary of Touro Infirmary (www.touro.com), we share the hospital’s vision of becoming the region’s preferred healthcare provider. All of our offices are modeled after private practices, giving you the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with your patients. Although Crescent City Physicians, Inc. is a corporate entity, each location functions independently and is driven by the patient/physician relationship – much like a true private practice. We participate in all of the major managed care plans, and we are currently implementing a state-of-the-art electronic medical record and practice management tool to help our physicians treat patients more efficiently and easily. Contact us to learn more about our opportunities for family practitioners and internists, and enjoy the benefits and flexibility of a private practice without all of the administrative and financial headaches. About Touro Infirmary: Founded in 1852 and located in the beautiful Garden District in Uptown New Orleans, Touro Infirmary is New Orleans´ only community-based, not-for-profit faith-based hospital. For more than 150 years, Touro has been in the vanguard of medical excellence. Tens of thousands of babies have been born at Touro, and we´ve treated more than a million people. Our modern facilities utilize the latest technology, and Touro is known for its quality and service excellence. And while we´re firmly rooted in our unique history, the path we´ve taken has always been a progressive one. In 1923, Touro was one of only fifteen hospitals in the country approved to use insulin to treat diabetes. In 1929, Touro was one of the first hospitals in the United States to have a physical therapy department. Today, the Touro Rehabilitation Center is one of the premier rehabilitation centers in the country, offering medical services that promote healing and recovery for people with orthopedic conditions, those who have had strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, as well as those who suffer from chronic pain. Our Family Birthing Center, equipped with labor/delivery/recovery suites, acute neonatal intensive care services and a comprehensive infant security system, has been the hospital of choice for generations of New Orleanians. Touro´s Cancer, Diabetes and Heart Disease programs emphasize prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment and support for patients and their families.
