Five Hills Health Region, located in south-central Saskatchewan, serves a population of 56,000 people. Five Hills Health Region has three acute care hospitals employing over 1800 people. The Five Hills Health Region Administration office is located in Moose Jaw. Services offered by the health region are: acute care, geriatric/long term care, transition beds, home care, public health, mental health, podiatry, and addictions services as well as CT scanning, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, diabetic counselling, cardiac rehabilitation and an exercise program. In-patient acute care hospitals are located in Assiniboia, Central Butte, Gravelbourg and Moose Jaw. Acute care services are offered by health centres in Craik, Kincaid, Lafleche , Rockglen, Mossbank, and Willow Bunch. Incentives Saskatchewan Health is currently offering two grants for health workforce employees: a Relocation grant for $5,000 and a Northern/Rural/Hard-to-Recruit grant for up to $15,000. Funding is provided to health workforce employees who agree to provide a specified return-in-service commitment to work in the province.
