Set on a beautiful 300-acre campus
north of Wilmington, Delaware, the Nemours/Alfred
I. duPont Hospital for Children has 180 inpatient
beds and offers all the major specialties of pediatric
medicine, surgery and dentistry. The duPont Hospital
is operated by Nemours, which provides institutions
and services to improve the health of children.
Established as a legacy of the Alfred I. duPont
Testamentary Trust, Nemours now employs over 4,200
dedicated Associates, including more than 420 pediatric
physicians, specialists and surgeons who care for
approximately a quarter of a million children annually.
