We’re a 297-bed acute-care medical center
with more than 2,200 employees and 450 physicians who
make a difference in our patients’ and their
families’ lives through exceptional medical care.
Our core values—empathy, innovation and accountability—aren't
just words: They're concepts that guide us.
Founded over one-half century ago, Harrison has evolved
from a small local hospital into one of the region’s
busiest medical centers. Our not-for-profit institution
now cares for patients from Kitsap, Mason, Jefferson,
and Clallum counties at campuses in East Bremerton,
Silverdale, and Port Orchard.
Harrison employees receive competitive
salaries and a top-notch benefits package that
includes a comprehensive retirement program, tuition
reimbursement and disability insurance, along with
medical, dental and vision. Many part-time positions
also provide benefits. We also provide relocation
assistance for some hard-to-fill positions, and
a generous continuing-education benefit.
Our leaders, too, are valued and nurtured on both
the professional and personal level. We use a corporate-sponsored
model to support leadership development necessary
in the ever-changing healthcare environment. |

Bremerton is located on one of Puget Sound's
many harbors and has been the home of the Puget
Sound Naval Shipyard since 1891. Harbor tours
pass the shipyard where the Navy's inactive fleet
is moored. Cultural attractions include the Amy
Burnett Gallery, the Admiral Theater, the Bremerton
Naval museum, and the Kitsap County Historical
Society Museum. Bremerton is located aproximately
1 hour from Seattle, a great distance for a day
trip. http://www.bremertonwa.com |
