A campaign to shape tomorrow’s leaders
What will the next generation of leaders look like? Stacy Tsang is a prime example. Through a project sponsored by the Rice Annual Fund, Tsang and other Rice students teamed up with the Houston Fire Department’s EMS to design a more efficient refrigerator for storing a life-saving drug. That’s the sort of innovative thinking that Tsang will take into the real world. Find out how you can give other students a similar beginning through Rice’s Centennial Campaign.
One bright idea: Students choose energy-saving bulbs
How many Rice students does it take to change a lightbulb? Two: One to trash the inefficient incandescent bulb and one to provide a free, energy-saving bulb. That’s what is happening at one of Rice's residential colleges. Rice senior Jeremy Caves is convincing his peers to make the environmentally-friendly change.
