Strategic Planning and Transformation Support Vancouver, British Columbia The Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) plans, manages and evaluates selected specialty and province-wide health care services across BC, working with the five geographic health authorities to deliver province-wide solutions that improve the health of British Columbians. Reporting to the Corporate Director, Transformation Support, you'll provide astute leadership for the development and evaluation of program functionality, processes and practices, and facilities design. You will also analyze the organizational need and capacity for change and resource capabilities. With your broad understanding of project design, principles and techniques, you'll help bring about improved process design leading to a higher level of service to clients and more effective allocation of resources. In addition, you'll create models and forecasts of the outcomes of implementing work redesign, work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for process improvement within the organization. You possess a level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Masters degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Operations Research with additional training in quality improvement and Six Sigma and Lean. You also bring a minimum of seven (7) years' recent related experience with progressively increasing responsibilities, preferably with direct involvement in process-based design projects. Your broad knowledge of the business process engineering principles, practices and methods affecting an organization is matched by demonstrated analytical problem solving and superior oral and written communication skills.
