Job Details: Early Childhood Educator II

Description: Reporting to the Children's Centre Co-ordinator, the Early Childhood Educator will attend to the care and learning of the children at the Children's Centre.

Qualifications:
• Successful completion of recognized Early Childhood Educator II program as per the Child Care Education Approval Committee (CCEPAC)
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a child care team
• Demonstrated ability to relate effectively to pre-school children, communicate with parents and families, and to be aware of community resources
• Requires imagination and resourcefulness to initiate and carry through planned activities and to be able to develop instructional material.

These positions will be subject to a Child Abuse Registry, Criminal Records Check and Investigative Authorization and Child Care Classification through Family Housing & Services, Manitoba Child Care

Salary:
• $15.352 to $16.373 per hour, plus northern allowance and all benefits as per the Manitoba Government and General Employees' Union and the Churchill RHA agreement.
