Job Details: Volunteer for Doctations.com Patient Advisory Board

Description: Call for volunteers for Doctations.com Patient Advisory Board to review features of iMedicalHome.com Web site
Award-winning Doctations, Inc., is the developer of the Doctations.com and iMedicalHome.com Web sites that are part of a unique Internet-enabled healthcare system designed to help doctors and patients form online collaborative networks.

Doctations, Inc. seeks several new volunteer members to join its Patient Advisory Board (PtAB). The Board's assignment is to comment on new development requirements for the iMedicalHome.com Web site, which is the patient portal of the Doctations healthcare system.

To undertake this next phase, we seek several volunteers with the following characteristics:
-- You have recently been or currently are a PATIENT or HEALTHCARE PROXY AND CAREGIVER for a person with diabetes, hypertension, coronary disease or obesity.
-- You have a medical background or training: nurse, nurse's aid, physician or physician assistant.
-- You have an understanding of Web services concepts-you don't have to have been a programmer, but you have had some experience providing requirements or testing user features on a Web site.
-- You have a strong interest in improving the patient-doctor relationship.
-- You have schedule flexibility to be able to attend PtAB meetings at Doctations headquarters in Garden City, New York on Thursday mornings, through lunch, every three to four weeks.
-- You are willing to test new capabilities of iMedicalHome.com as they are developed, to report your findings on Word- or Excel-based forms and to engage in email dialogue or development queries that come up from time to time.
-- You are willing to sign a nondisclosure form and to certify that your volunteer participation as a Patient Advisory Board member will not present a conflict of interest with your present jobs or clients.

Patient Advisory Board volunteers will receive stock options in Doctations. Inc. for each meeting attended and a light lunch will be served.

If you fit these parameters, please email a letter of interest and explain your suitability based on the above requirements.
