The Vice President will establish strategic

The Vice President will establish strategic initiatives for the hospital, as well as identify opportunities for service improvements, provide leadership for staff and clinicians in the fulfillment of goals, and monitor financial and clinical performance. Accountable for the leadership and business development of all related services provided by the organization; responsible for overseeing the orthopedic and neuroscience service lines, as well as integrating the rehabilitation facility's services with those provided at the main hospital. Extensive rehabilitation experience, education at the graduate level, seven to ten years progressive leadership experience, and demonstrated success in leading an outpatient rehabilitation facility or an integrated service line is required; strong ortho or neuro background highly preferred. Ideal candidates will have established a successful track record of program development, have prior turn-around experience, demonstrate strong financial acumen and be an effective change agent. Reports to the Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer and oversees approximately 274 FTEs operating the main campus, three outpatient sites, 48 additional rehabilitation beds, 22 skilled nursing beds and a large outpatient chemical dependency program. The region's oldest and largest accredited rehabilitation facility, the 70-bed, Joint Commission and CARF-accredited hospital specializes in helping patients who have experienced strokes, head traumas, spinal cord injuries, multiple traumas, amputations, orthopaedic, neuromuscular and related conditions.
