Job Details: Director of Wellness Center

Description: Kingman Regional Medical Center is actively seeking a Director of our Wellness Center located in beautiful and growing Kingman, AZ!
Under the general direction of the Executive Director of Operational Services, organizes, directs, coordinates, staffs, and controls a range of wellness activities related to the Wellness Center, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and potentially child care programs, so as to accomplish the goals and objectives of those departments. Initiates Continuous Quality Improvement projects on an ongoing basis so as to improve key aspects of care or service.

EDUCATION:

REQUIRED: Bachelors degree in Exercise Science or related health/fitness field.
DESIRED: Masters degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion or Business Administration/Management.

EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED: 3 years management experience in a health/wellness facility.
DESIRED: 5 years upper level management experience in a Wellness Center.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED: Clinical skills including: body composition, exercise blood pressures and heart rates, stress testing, ECG interpretation, and exercise prescription for the apparently healthy and special populations. Experience with budgeting.
DESIRED: Critical thinking, math skills.
* Results-orientated leader with proven track record of success as WC/Fitness Director or Manager.
* Excellent communication skills and follow-through.
* Ability to create an environment that delivers excellent customer service.
* Entrepreneurial minded - able to identify and address business opportunities. Runs WC as if it were his/her business.
