PCC Community Wellness Center is a leader in Primary Health Care, providing nearly 110,000 patient visits per year in the Austin, Belmont/Cragin, Oak Park, Cicero, Humboldt Park, Melrose Park and Berwyn areas. PCC Community Wellness Center has eight sites and prides itself in providing a model work environment. PCC is at the leading edge of community health. The Certified Nurse Midwife serves as a clinical leader, providing leadership support for the clinical support staff and is responsible for some administrative accountability to include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of delivering quality health care services.

Our sites are Federally Qualified Health Care Centers. We have a full time opening at our PCC South site. The Certified Nurse Midwife responsibilities include: the full scope of midwifery services and collaboration with staff physicians with additional maternal child health support at our admitting hospital. The Certified Nurse Midwife also provides patient education/counseling with program development/management. We are seeking experienced midwives who want to practice medicine in an underserved community. Interest in working with an underserved population and teaching are essential.
