While we have been expanding the number of physicians and the types of services we offer, we have continued to provide the highest quality of care expected from our community. - Bachelors degree is required - 5+ years experience required - Customer Service skills are required The Director of Physician Recruitment & Relations will work closely with the Director of Operations and the V.P. of Physician Services to develop and implement a physician recruitment plan which reflects and supports Beverly Hospital's/Northeast Medical Practice's market growth strategies. You will be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing appropriate and timely strategies for coordinating the recruitment of physicians in activities such as sourcing, screening and interviewing, planning and scheduling site visits, managing related human resources and employment issues of physicians, understanding contract development, productivity measures, compensation and incentives, budgeting for and managing the recruitment and relations function. Responsible for setting the overall direction of physician development and recruitment consistent with Beverly Hospitals strategic plan and service line business plans, achieving annual goals and objectives, recruiting new physicians and developing relationship with physicians. In conjunction with Leadership and the Business Development Department will develop the strategic plan, budgets, resource allocation, and physician recruitment plan consistent with the accepted standards and values of the hospital. Identifies new growth opportunities and develops business or marketing plans to support goals. Represents the hospital and business development department at various external governmental, professional association, medical staff meetings and committees with a customer-focused mindset. Works in conjunction with other departments in developing and managing provider group relations. Communicates physicians' issues or concerns to Senior Leadership, and/or the Director of Operations for initiatives pertaining to operational change recommendations. Builds positive relationships with medical staff to ensure physician retention. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration or related field and five years experience in Physician/Advanced Practitioner or Executive Recruitment is required. Knowledge of the Healthcare Industry is preferred. The demonstrated ability to manage projects and negotiate contracts are a must. Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
