Tibotec Therapeutics, a division of Centocor Ortho Biotech Services, LLC., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is seeking a qualified candidate for a Science & Research Liaison (SRL) position.

This position covers the following geography: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Tennessee (Nashville and Knoxville, only).

Tibotec Therapeutics Division of Centocor Ortho Biotech Services, LLC focuses on the U.S. sales and marketing of virology products. Currently approved products include PREZISTA, a HIV-1 protease inhibitor (PI), and INTELENCE, a HIV-1 non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI).

The Science & Research Liaison (SRL) is a position wholly within the Clinical Affairs Division of Tibotec Therapeutics, Virology. The SRL will develop peer-to-peer relationships with thought leaders in practice, academic and research settings, engaging in scientific exchange on research and clinical trends. The SRL provides field based clinical support to thought leaders by responding to unsolicited medical information requests and participates in the identification and facilitation of novel clinical study ideas. The SRL will assist in developing a clinical trials strategy for investigator-initiated trials. Additionally, the SRL will assist with site selection and field support of company sponsored trials. The individual in this role participates in regional symposia, clinical and marketing advisory boards, and other national/regional medical meetings. The SRL attends medical meetings as a full scientific registrant to gather and convey new scientific information useful to thought leaders, to the Company, and to maintaining the SRL's professional expertise. A successful SRL will strengthen the bond between Tibotec Therapeutics and the healthcare community by being informative to thought leaders with reliable, objective, medical education, supportive of research endeavors, and receptive to feedback on therapeutic products, clinical trends, and research of interest, through peer-to-peer scientific exchange.

The role of the SRL requires strategic planning, oversight of study implementation, excellent communication skills, and relationship building with opinion leaders. In this capacity, the SRL works closely with other members of the Clinical Affairs Division, and strategic business groups as appropriate within the field and at the corporate office. The SRL will be assigned a geographical territory where they will be responsible for the described clinical activity within their region.
