Respiratory Therapists/Homecare Consultants

This position is responsible for the initiation of prescribed respiratory therapy in the home and office such as set ups of CPAP, assessments, education, documentation, and follow-up to ensure equipment performance and client compliance. Promotion of Medigas products and services to referral sources, including educational in-services to medical/healthcare communities is an integral part of the job.

The applicant would have R.R.T., RN or RPN designation and current registration with C.S.R.T. or provincial registration and in good standing with the respective Colleges. Prior homecare and sales experience is an asset. The applicant should possess excellent organizing, planning, co-coordinating, training, business acumen, computer skills and inter-personal skills.

Applicants are to be results oriented and have the ability to work independently. They should be customer focused, organized, and have the ability to set priorities and follow through on tasks. A commitment to customer service, safety, and a clean driving record is a must. Knowledge of sleep therapy would be an asset.
