Job Details: Director of Laboratory

POSITION

-Reports directly to the chief executive officer

-Supervises approximately four employees

-Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the laboratory, facilitating competency for personnel, budget and other financial issues as related to the department, as well as all regulatory issues

-Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in a related field, medical technician experience, as well as a solid background within the hospital laboratory setting

-A 25-bed, independent, not-for-profit, critical access facility offering a wide array of inpatient and outpatient services that serves a broad patient population base in a four-county area with comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services

-The facility has attracted an outstanding medical staff including specialists in the fields of family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, general surgery and pediatrics

-This facility exists to improve the health and wellness of the community, and strives to promote excellence in all aspects of its care delivered
