Hours of Work: 40 hours per week - 1948.8 hours per annum Salary: As per current SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement Posting Date:December 5, 2007 Closing Date: December 17, 2007 @ 12 noon Anticipated Date of Appointment: As soon as Possible Job Summary: Primarily responsible for facilitating Communications/Education; developing and monitoring community service provider programs for children/youth/families with substance abuse and mental health issues; building capacity of staff and community; as well as monitoring contracts to facilitate supports for children, youth and their families dealing with mental health and addictions issues. Reports to the Director of Community Health Services. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in health promotion, education or related field. Significant related experience, or a combination of experience and education may be considered Two years work experience in community health promotion, teaching, and community development activities is preferred. Work experience in the North would be an asset. Valid Driver's License.
