The
administrative director is responsible for all nursing
units that include medical, pediatrics, surgical services,
emergency department, and intensive care as well as
pastoral care, rehabilitation services, cardiopulmonary,
hospice, and home health. Primary responsibilities
include the planning and management of nursing activity,
formulation of goals and objectives, policy and procedure
development, nursing budgets, assuring optimal quality
of care is provided in a safe environment, and compiling
data and preparing periodic nursing reports. Qualified
candidates will be RNs with previous leadership experience
managing multiple departments.
The hospital
is a 69-bed, full-service, Joint Commission-accredited,
not-for-profit, acute care hospital that features three
outpatient clinics and a regional dialysis network.
The
community of 20,000 is situated in the heart of the
Southwest approximately 2 hours from Albuquerque and
2.5 hours from Flagstaff, Arizona. The town, home to
one of the best outdoor scenes in the Southwest, is
situated at 6,515 feet and has a mild and comfortable
four-season climate, with more than 280 sunny days
each year. The landscape is beautiful with red mesas
surrounding the city. Recreational opportunities are
abundant through all four seasons. There are great
opportunities for outdoor recreation including hiking,
rock climbing, tennis, golf, bicycling, hot-air ballooning,
and drag racing. The area offers adventure for all.
The wide-open spaces are an ongoing attraction to photographers
throughout the year and there are 15 National Parks
and a plethora of State and Tribal Parks within driving
distance. Cost of living is 15% below the national
average.
