similarly to Mayo Clinic, is comprised of a 225-physician
multi-specialty clinic, a 272-bed Level II trauma hospital,
and a 125-bed long term care facility.
Billings
Clinic is seeking an innovative individual to coordinate
national best-practice payer contracting and research
activity across all service lines in support of Billings
Clinic's vision and strategic goals. Will maintain
major relationships with insurers, third party administrators,
payers, employers and a related provider-owned health
plan. Requires firm knowledge of how managed care impacts
across all provider and support departments, with a
strong ability to lead a multi-disciplinary contract
evaluation process, analysis and negotiations, as well
as operational implementation of payer contracts. Supervises
provider enrollment and payer compliance functions
and staff. Must have excellent oral and written communication
skills. Requires demonstrated career success in a maturing
managed care marketplace. Successful candidate must
be able to balance the challenges of legal and regulatory
environment, market forces and analyze the financial
and strategic impact of payer contracts on Billings
Clinic. Qualified candidates for this high-profile
position will have a bachelor's degree in business
or appropriate field, plus 3 years experience in a
challenging payer environment.
