Job Details: Charge Nurse-Pediatrics

Description: Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation with an emphasis on the pediatric patient population.

Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired pediatric patient outcomes. Responsible for the smooth running of the Pediatrics department during assigned shift. Oversee's LPN, RN's, and C.N.A.'s/Unit Secretary during assigned shift.

Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Certifications / Licenses:
-Current state Nurse license (RN)
-Previous nursing experience required
-Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification
-Maintain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
-Pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred
