Job Details: Registered Nurse - Pediatrics

Description: Responsible for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, student nurses, and volunteers, who may be working under his/her supervision during the scheduled shift.

Ensures all assigned/delegated attritional tasks are completed in a timely manner. Enforces unit and medical center policies. Performs annual performance evaluation and feedback to assigned personnel. Demonstrates appropriate ethical and clinical behavior while continually assuring the patient's dignity, privacy and rights in respect to the age of the patient and any other care specific needs of the patient. Will provide direct patient care when necessary.

Education:
Florida licensed to practice as a registered nurse; BSN is preferred.

Experience:
Two or more years of recent clinical experience in acute medical-surgical nursing experience and one year pediatric experience; previous Charge Nurse or related management experience is desirable.

Certifications / Licenses:
-Currently licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
-Current CPR, and PALS (within 6 months).
-Advanced certifications, training, ACLS and degrees preferred.
