Job Details: Dermatopathologist

Description: Exceptional opportunity for a Dermatopathologist to affiliate with a technically advanced trauma center that has achieved an award winning level of care.
The department is comprised of three Pathologists and a dedicated staff, which includes two physician assistants, three cytologists, three histologists and six administrative staff. As the region's only trauma center, this facility has served the needs of people in Southwestern Idaho, Eastern Oregon and Northern Nevada. This is an employed practice with excellent compensation.

In the summer of 2007, this facility opened one of the most advanced clinical centers in the Northwest-The Center for Advanced Healing. This new Center will combine the most sophisticated medical technologies with evidence-based architectural design principles proven to aid recovery and healing. The nine-story, 400,000 square foot facility is designed with a private room for every patient, a 16-room state-of-the-art surgical operating theater and a host of other enhancements all focused on improving patient health outcomes, privacy, comfort and safety.

For outdoor recreation enthusiasts, the entire stat of Idaho is a playground. Known worldwide for its spectacular beauty, the state encompasses majestic mountain ranges towering over blue ribbon streams and rivers; rich forests, punctuated by clear, high-mountain lakes and the quiet beauty of high desert plains.

The area abounds with recreational resources, including nearly 69 parks covering 2,131 acres in and around the city. A river, which runs through downtown, attracts fly fishermen and rafters, and the 25-mile greenbelt along the river's edge is perfect for biking, running and observing wildlife. In addition, a ski area, just 16 miles from the city, offers the alpine skier and snowboarder a 1,800-foot vertical drop and 52 major runs.
