The Department of Health and Social Services is recruiting for a: Quality Improvement and Training Coordinator Community Nursing Competition No.: 08-ST17-12 Closing Date: 5:00 p.m.: November 7, 2008 Salary: $69,923 to $80,836 per annum Community Nursing is committed to excellence in the provision of health care. As Quality Improvement & Training Coordinator you will focus on developing and implementing training programs, preceptoring, mentoring and assisting with the professional development of Community Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners in Charge throughout the territory. Duties include providing primary health services, emergency services, assisting with the planning, developing, implementation and evaluation of public health/education programs, assessing competency levels and developing training plans. As the ideal candidate, you will have considerable recent experience in the delivery of community health and treatment services in an expanded role in a cross-cultural environment.
