The city of Baldwin Park is located
about 18 miles (29 kilometers) east
of downtown Los
Angeles, in the San Gabriel Valley.
It is the 25th-largest of Los
Angeles County's 88 cities. Baldwin
Park had its start in the mid-1800s
as agricultural land, and was incorporated
as a city in 1956.
Today, we are the largest nonprofit health care
organization in the United States, serving approximately
8.2 million people in nine states and the District
of Columbia.
