Iqaluit encompasses a convergence
of cultures – Inuit, French,
and English – and is a blend
of old cultural traditions and modern
technology. Some people still prefer
to get around by dogsled in the winter
months. Although small by most city
standards, Iqaluit is the capital
of Nunavut.
And it's surrounded by the great
Arctic outdoors.
