Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, Gilbert's first hospital and Arizona's newest Catholic Healthcare West (CHW) facility, opened its doors in June 2006. Since then the hospital has undergone tremendous growth, and continues to grow -- in both bed count and service line offerings -- to meet the needs of Gilbert's expanding residential base.
